Richard McAndrew

Richard McAndrew was born in Lafayette, IN, but moved to San Diego when he was 6 months old. He has an extensive history in the vet industry, starting when he was 12 years old and working with his mom in her veterinarian hospital. He continued to work at an Emergency Animal Hospital as a technician manager during college while getting a BS in Animal Physiology from UCSD. Richard then went on to create his own company, South Coast Anesthesia, in June of 1999, and then in April of 2020 teamed up with Nathan Corley to purchase VAS Inc., merging the two companies into what is now VASS LLC. Throughout all of that, Richard still maintains his college friendships and sees them two to three times a month!
