Karen has lived in the Santa Cruz/ Monterey area her entire life. Gaining her RVT in 2010, she has spent over 30 years in veterinary medicine. Most years in practice were spent primarily in dentistry where she developed a deep passion. A huge advocate for high-level medicine, including pain management & palliative care. 25 years were dedicated to one clinic in the Santa Cruz area where she held the title as hospital manager and head veterinary technician. Karen has two beautiful children, a cattle dog named Ella, 3 cats, & a bearded dragon. She loves spending time with her children & dog. Karen enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, walking on the beach, mountain hiking, snow skiing, basketball, gardening & house projects.
